Recently a judge reduced the attorney’s legal fee from $____ to $________ because the lawyer did not attend one hearing in Philadelphia. According to the lawyer, he missed the hearing because he thought a telephone conference had been scheduled.

Does this mean that attending one meeting or making one conference call is worth $______? This is simply outrageous.
