Dear Editor,
On (date), there was an article in the newspaper
that a (name) factory is coming up in (area, place) very soon. I am writing this letter to
express my deep concern over the environmental pollution the factory shall create in the
surrounding areas.
There are wide fields in the close proximity of this area. The factory shall emit
poisonous smoke which will destroy the wheat and rice crops. Our environment is already
polluted and the Ozone layer has already been damaged. Therefore, the green patches must
be left untouched and not be encroached upon by the industrial units.
I appeal to the government to reconsider their decision as the farmers, whose lands are
being acquired, have also started an agitation.
