Through
the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of the authorities
to the deplorable condition of the Park on (name) Road.
This
park extends to an area of more than five acres of land but is lying neglected for long
time. The green area is littered with garbage and dirt, the lighting system is out of
order, the walking track is broken and full of pits and the gate and railings of the park
are missing. The whole of the park is occupied by the beggars for dwellings which gives it
a shabby look.
Moreover,
due to the negligence of the authorities, this park has become more of a nuisance than a
facility as Stray dogs and cattle roam free in the park. It has also become a haven for
antisocial elements. We hope that the authorities will wake up to improve the condition of
the park.
